Even the most vociferous anti climate change sceptics should care about recycling. People may find the whole idea of climate change difficult to accept but that argument should not be confused with the good common sense arguments made for recycling products and materials. If you care about the future and the planet your kids are going to inherit you should care about recycling and make a decent effort to recycle as much as you reasonably can do.

We know more about the world now than any generation that went before us. To some of our ancestors the planet Earth was an enormous repositary of materials with unlimited supplies of minerals to be discovered and mined. We now know a lot more about the world we live in and this small ball of rock spinning throough the universe is the only place we can call home and we need to look after it.

The planet has limited resources and they are the only ones we will ever have to use. If we run out of oil or gas, or any of the valuable minerals we mine and convert into products and materials  then mankind will have to somehow learn to live witrhout them.

We can all try to use less energy and to avoid waste but we should also attempt to recycle the products we no longer require to help prolong the resorces available to our children and our children’s children in the future.
